Tomorrow is the offical release date. I have many events scheduled and more contacts to be made.

Tate finished my audio book a couple weeks ago. It was immediately available online. I had my first review - someone who didn't read or order - just left a rating of 1 and a comment about it not being true. I pray for him every time I think of it.

My challenge now is waiting for my books to come and trusting I ordered the right amount. I'm continually having to let it go again. No amount of my worrying or wondering will get the stuff here faster or help me sell it.

I have to remember it's bigger than me selling books. It's a tool for families to train their children that Jesus really is the most important part of Christmas and all of life.

I have been blessed to be able to record the audio for my elive download and the audio book. KAGV, Alaska's Gospel Voice AM 1110, donated their recording studio and a friend donated his time to do all the techy stuff. Everything went really well. It is now done and if you have a book the elive link is now ready! The Audio book is getting a cover and will soon be available also. God is good! I'm excited to see what this Christmas season brings.

I have a release date - October 20! Anyone can now order my book from Tate Publishing. October 20 is when all retailers could have my book for sale. It's amazing. For anyone local I can personally sell you a copy, signed if you like. If you are at a distance and want one signed I can do that also. Yesterday Eddie sent me three cover designs to choose from. My first choice ended up being different than my final choice. After looking though them through out the day my second choice grew on me as the most marketable. Now Eddie works on making my manuscript look like a book on the inside. Once the final proof is approved (mid June) marketing and printing will begin. The actual books should be ready about four weeks after it is sent to printing. I won't have an offical release date until it goes to the printer but it's looking like mid to late July!

Jason has finished all the illustrations and passed the project on to Eddie who will design the cover and layout the pages for how they will look when actually printed. The book will be 6x9 and have an illustration for each day's devotion. Within the next two weeks he will finish the cover design, then a digital layout by the end of May. As long as all is well I'll have the first printed proof (the actual printed book) by mid June. I am also working on making ornaments to go along with each day.

I spoke with Jason on Wednesday. He will be illustrating my book. He sent me some sketches yesterday. They are wonderful! He is doing one for each day, each symbol - which thrills me. I was having a hard time imagining it otherwise... Jason will be finished by the end of April and I should have the cover design by the second week of May. It was quite a thrill to see his sketches yesterday. Things keep moving along. I think once the book goes to print it could still be three months before it available for sale. I will be able to begin marketing after the cover design is final though. Now for more enthusiastic waiting!

Hi all, if you are checking to see if I've heard anything... Yes and No. I heard I should hear by the end of next week (Beginning of April). So now I continue enthusiastically waiting! I thought I may have been being impatient but my editor said it was "enthusiastic" so I'm going with that!

Wow, editing is done! I did a pretty major rewrite after the first edit. We were expecting to do a new "first edit", likely delaying the process by missing the scheduled spot in layout. However; when I heard from Jim yesterday he said there were so few changes this was the final edit! Yeah! The manuscript was scheduled to go on to layout the 19th, so I'm ready two days early.

I should have an updated schedule of this step of the process, I'm hoping this week, but am trying to be realistic (as some of you know is quite a challenge for me:D ) and should know by sometime next week.
