Just today I received an email from one of you asking about what our family does to celebrate the Christmas season/ Advent. It’s so important to talk with children about how Christ is the reason we celebrate Christmas.

God gave us His Son – Jesus came to give up His life – for US! There is no greater gift, there is no greater love. I want to teach my children that Christmas isn’t about the gifts we receive, but should rather be about how we can give to others like Christ gave to us.

This can be hard with all of the commercialism out there! This is all the more reason that I feel better prepared having some Biblical products and lessons on hand, to assist me as I try to share the TRUE meaning of Christmas with my children.

After having kids, I realized that I wanted Christmas to be more than just the frenzied shopping, hectic party schedules and craziness that comes with trying to be at everyone's event in December. It can be hard to teach that to our children when all they say is our focus on presents, gifts, decorations, parties, etc."
